Former Maharashtra Minister and Ajit Pawar-led NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai. Three bullets were fired at him outside his son’s office, and he later died in the hospital. Siddique served as an MLA and Minister of State, resigning from the Congress party earlier this year to join the NCP. He was known as a close friend of Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan. Investigations are ongoing into the incident.
