The upcoming Wayanad Lok Sabha bypolls will see an interesting battle between Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and BJP’s Navya Haridas. Navya, a two-time councilor, has no criminal charges against her and is contesting for the Lok Sabha for the first time, while Priyanka, a graduate, has worked in poll campaigns before. Priyanka has declared assets worth over Rs 12 crore and is facing charges in two FIRs. On the other hand, Navya has assets worth over Rs 45 lakh and her husband is a Mechanical Engineer. Both candidates have different backgrounds and stories, making this contest even more intriguing. The elections are scheduled for November 13, with the results on November 23.
