Senior BRS leader KT Rama Rao has sent a legal notice to Telangana minister Konda Surekha for her controversial remarks linking him to the Samantha-Naga divorce issue. The BRS slammed Surekha’s comments as “uncouth, cheap, and disgusting,” demanding intervention from Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. The Congress minister claimed she was responding to online abuses from the opposition party. The comments have sparked a war of words between the Congress government and the BRS, with some YSRCP leaders also condemning Surekha’s remarks. The BRS called out the Congress for lacking moral grounds and accused them of character assassination against KTR. Actress-turned-politician Roja Selvamani also criticized Surekha’s comments as “despicable” and expressed support for the Akkineni family.
