Two UBT Lok Sabha MPs In Touch With Eknath Shinde, Claims Sena Leader; Uddhav Group Hits Back

Shiv Sena claimed that two newly elected Lok Sabha members from Uddhav Thackeray’s faction were in touch with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The claim was made out of fear and desperation as Shiv Sena lawmakers are apprehensive about who will be their alliance face in the upcoming state polls. The names of the two Lok Sabha members were not revealed due to the anti-defection law, but it was mentioned that four more lawmakers would soon join them. The dispute arose from the manner in which Uddhav Thackeray sought votes from a particular community. Despite claims from both factions, Shiv Sena’s position remains clear about not supporting those who rebelled against the leadership.
