Arvind Kejriwal, leader of the AAP, thanked the people for voting for Mehraj Malik in Jammu and Kashmir, stating that their historic win will change the situation and history of the region in the next 10 years. Kejriwal also congratulated Omar Abdullah on his victory and offered his support, suggesting that Abdullah consult him if he faces challenges in running the “half-state” of Jammu and Kashmir. Kejriwal emphasized that AAP is focused on development and a different type of politics, not just on holding political positions. He expressed hope for the growth and progress of Doda and Jammu and Kashmir under their leadership.
