Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das has called for the creation of a Sanatan Board for Hindus, similar to the Waqf Board for Muslims. He believes that such a board is necessary to protect Hindu temples and properties, which are under threat in some places. Das expressed concerns about the situation in India and neighboring Bangladesh, where Hindu properties have been grabbed and minorities are facing persecution. He urged Hindu religious leaders to come together and work on this issue, emphasizing the need for protection of Hindu religious sites. Das believes that the Indian government should take steps to address these issues and protect the interests of the Sanatani people.
