The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has announced its first list of 35 candidates for the upcoming assembly polls. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will be contesting from Barhait and his wife Kalpana Soren from Gandey segments. The polls will be held in two phases on November 13 and 20 with results on November 23. Hemant Soren is the sitting MLA from Barhait, while Kalpana Soren won the Gandey bypoll. Other candidates include Basant Soren, Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahto, and Minister Mithilesh Thakur. The JMM is gearing up for the elections with a strong lineup of candidates in various constituencies.
