Polling staff and security forces have arrived at their designated polling stations in six districts of J&K for the Assembly elections. A total of 25.78 lakh voters will decide the fate of 239 candidates, including big names like Omar Abdullah and Abdul Rahim Rather. Security forces have been deployed to ensure safety during the voting process. The districts include Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Ganderbal, Srinagar, and Budgam. The voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in 15 constituencies in the Kashmir Valley and 11 in the Jammu division. Special polling stations have been set up to encourage voter participation.
