During a general body meeting of the Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation, there was chaos as ruling BJP and opposition Congress councillors got into a scuffle. Congress councillors protested against Mayor Soumya Gurjar, highlighting issues like poor sanitation and lack of development in the city. Things escalated when BJP councillors joined in, leading to a physical altercation between the two sides. The House was adjourned twice, with one Congress councillor even placing a box of garbage on the mayor’s table. After a 30-minute break, the meeting resumed, but tensions remained high.
