Delhi Chief Minister Atishi recently visited ITO Chhath Ghat to ensure that preparations for the upcoming Chhath festival are in place. She emphasized the importance of the festival for the Purvanchali community and highlighted the government’s efforts to expand the celebration over the past decade. Previously, Chhath Puja was celebrated at only 60 locations, but now there are over 1000 grand Chhath Ghats for worship. The Kejriwal government has been working diligently to ensure that everyone can properly worship Chhathi Maiya during this festive time. All ministers and MLAs of the Delhi government are actively involved in inspecting preparations at various Chhath Ghats across the city.
