The controversy surrounding the bungalow at 6, Flagstaff Road in Civil Lines, previously occupied by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has escalated. The BJP has alleged irregularities in its reconstruction and costly interiors, dubbing it as “Sheeshmahal”. The bungalow has now been formally allotted to Chief Minister Atishi after she was reportedly forced to vacate it. The PWD has issued an offer letter advising full cooperation in the investigation by CBI and other agencies. Atishi has been asked to submit an acceptance within eight days to take possession of the bungalow, with a warning of cancellation if she fails to do so.
