Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had a productive meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Naidu thanked PM Modi for the Cabinet’s approval of revised cost estimates for the Polavaram Project and for supporting the capital city of Amaravati. He also met with Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw, who shared plans for investing in infrastructure projects in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu expressed gratitude for the support and reassurance from the Central Government in addressing fiscal stress in the state.
