Andhra CM Naidu Accuses Jagan Regime Of Using Animal Fat To Make Tirupati Laddus, YSRCP Hits Back

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous government of using animal fat instead of ghee in the Tirupati laddu prasadam offered at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple at Tirumala. Naidu expressed shock and said it disrespected the religious sentiments of devotees. The YSRCP responded, calling Naidu’s remarks vile and damaging to the sanctity of the temple. This controversy is not new, as the TDP has criticized the quality of the laddu prasadam in the past. The TTD has now set up a laboratory to ensure quality checks in Mysuru.
