Andaman BJP MP Urges LG Joshi’s Removal, Says He Is Delaying Developmental Works

Andaman and Nicobar Islands MP Bishnu Pada Ray accused Lieutenant Governor Devendra Kumar Joshi of delaying developmental works in the region and called for his immediate removal. He claimed that various sectors like health, education, and roads are being affected under the LG’s administration. Ray also alleged that farmers are not receiving diammonium phosphate fertiliser due to administrative inaction. He mentioned that land conversion and registration issues are impacting the tourism industry. The MP stated that he would raise the issue in Parliament. The lieutenant governor’s office did not respond to the allegations.
