After five years of political turmoil, Maharashtra is gearing up for the 2024 Assembly elections with 288 seats up for grabs. The state has seen alliances shift, with the BJP and Shiv Sena falling out in 2019, leading to President’s rule. Currently, the state is divided between two main alliances – Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi. As the election approaches, candidates from different districts are preparing to compete for their respective seats.
