Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has announced that November 7 will be a public holiday in Delhi for Chhath Puja, allowing Purvanchali brothers and sisters working in the city to celebrate without hindrance. The Delhi government has made full preparations for the festival, with over 1,000 grand Chhath Ghats established compared to just 60 sites ten years ago. Chhath Puja will be celebrated enthusiastically across Delhi, with preparations by the government in full swing.
