The INDIA bloc, in their election manifesto for the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections, has promised 10 lakh jobs for youth and health insurance coverage of up to Rs 15 lakh for the poor. They also plan to enhance reservations for STs, SCs, and OBCs, increase free monthly ration to 7 kg, and provide gas cylinders at Rs 450 in Jharkhand. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge emphasized the fulfillment of guarantees, contrasting it with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unfulfilled promises. The elections for the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly will be held on November 13 and 20, with vote counting on November 23.
