The Youth Congress has filed a complaint against an English daily and a PR agency for publishing a controversial interview with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The interview quoted Vijayan making inflammatory statements about gold and hawala money entering Kerala for “antistate” and “anti-national” activities. The Youth Congress is calling for legal action against those responsible for spreading false and communal statements that have led to public disturbances. They believe that the interview was manipulated by the PR agency and are demanding accountability for those involved in creating a riotous atmosphere in Kerala.
