Senior Congress leader K Muraleedharan has criticized Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, questioning whether he would hand over the Thiruvananthapuram corporation to the BJP after the Attukal Pongala festival, similar to what happened with the Thrissur Pooram festival. Muraleedharan also expressed distrust in the report submitted by ADGP M R Ajith Kumar on the Pooram fiasco, claiming it was biased. He dismissed concerns about his defeat in the Thrissur Lok Sabha election, stating he had not sought reasons for it. Muraleedharan also suggested that Vijayan’s main supporters, P Sasi and Ajith Kumar, hold valuable information that could potentially lead to the Chief Minister’s resignation.
