Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Tourism Suresh Gopi recently inaugurated the industry-academia meet ‘Confluence-2024’ at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology. The event, organized by the institution and GTECH, focused on the ‘Future of Talent’ and brought together over 250 IT companies in Kerala. Mr. Gopi emphasized the importance of building a strong educational foundation to support new industries such as artificial intelligence, automation, and quantum computing. The event also saw participation from prominent figures like S. Somnath, V.K Mathews, and Loknath Behera, who shared valuable insights during the plenary sessions.
