A fishing boat caught fire at Beypore harbour in Kozhikode, injuring two fishermen from Lakshadweep. Others on board managed to escape by jumping into the water. The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Medical College Hospital. The boat, owned by Dilbar, was completely destroyed along with all fishing equipment. Fire and Rescue officials quickly arrived and extinguished the flames. The accident was caused by cooking gas cylinders exploding and the fire spreading rapidly due to a full fuel tank.
