Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Expands Drinking Water Distribution Amid Ongoing Shortage | Thiruvananthapuram News

The Thiruvananthapuram corporation is working hard to ensure that everyone affected by the water supply disruption receives drinking water. They have deployed over 136 vehicles to distribute water and will continue to do so until the Kerala water authority restores supply completely. Mayor Arya Rajendran expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation during this crisis. From Sept 5 to Sept 10, the corporation delivered over 1.7 crore litres of drinking water to affected areas. Water can be booked online or offline, and a 24-hour control room is in place to handle calls and ensure water delivery. The corporation’s online app, website, and Akshaya centres can be used to book water distribution.
