Theft of mobile phones at concert: Kochi City police make headway

They have taken two persons into custody from Delhi and seized around 20 phones, most of them iPhones. Similar thefts have been reported in other cities where concerts by the same artiste were held. The police suspect that the accused are professionals who managed to pull off the thefts and flee. Teams have been dispatched to Delhi and Bengaluru for further investigation. The stolen phones were tracked to different locations, indicating that the group may have split up after committing the crime together.
