The recent students’ union elections held on campuses under the University of Kerala saw significant gains claimed by both the SFI and KSU. The SFI emerged victorious in 64 out of 77 campuses, including many colleges in various districts. Meanwhile, the KSU also made strides by retaining control of some colleges and wresting others from the SFI, such as the Sree Vidyadiraja College in Kollam after 20 years. Both parties have expressed satisfaction with their performance in the elections.
