Tharoor to open renovated Library and Information Centre on Devagiri campus

The newly renovated Library and Information Centre at St. Joseph’s College, Devagiri, will be opened on October 26. The modern facility spans four floors and houses a collection of 72,000 books, along with e-reading resources. The library will operate under an open access system, allowing students to independently issue and return books. It features unique seating options and innovative features like natural sunlight exposure and glass elevators. The facility also includes conference halls, exhibition areas, and a Book Tower. The opening ceremony will be presided over by MP M.K. Raghavan, with various events planned to celebrate the occasion.
