Social Work Students Congress to be held in Thiruvananthapuram

The Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS) and Loyola College of Social Sciences are teaming up to host the KAPS Social Work Students Congress, known as OPSTA 2K24, on Friday. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the college and will feature Priyanka G., Director of the Social Justice department, as the chief guest. This year’s theme, ‘Integrating Core Competencies in Practice Learning,’ aims to bring together social work colleges in Kerala to discuss ways to strengthen core competencies in the field. It’s a great opportunity for social work students to learn and network with professionals in the sector.
