Science Slam brings inventions, research to common people in lucid terms

A young science researcher gave a presentation at the Science Slam event held at Cusat, addressing important questions like whether global warming could turn Kochi into an island. The event, organized by the science portal Luca, featured 25 topics presented by researchers in a simple and engaging way. The presentations were evaluated by a select audience and prominent scientists. Regional editions of the Science Slam will be held in other cities, with winners competing at the final slam at IIT Palakkad. The event aims to bridge the gap between scientists and the public, making science more accessible and understandable.
