Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy showed his support by accompanying Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as she filed her nomination for the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll. He wished her the best of luck in the upcoming election. The seat became vacant after her brother Rahul Gandhi decided to retain his seat in Rae Bareli. AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, Mr. Gandhi, and other party leaders were also present during the nomination filing. The event took place on October 23, 2024, at 11:22 pm.
