Protest staged against speeding private buses in front of school in Kochi

Parents and teachers at Govt. Girls’ HSS in Ernakulam organized a protest against speeding private buses that have been endangering the lives of students. The protest was prompted by an accident involving a high school student and her father, who were seriously injured by a speeding bus. The PTA members made private buses stop at the designated bus stop instead of in front of the school gate to raise awareness about the issue. They expressed their concerns about the recurring problem of speeding buses and vowed to continue protesting until a solution is found. The protest included placard-bearing demonstrations and a protest meeting.
