The Congress party in Thiruvananthapuram is organizing a protest march to the Secretariat on September 6, calling for the resignation of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. They are also demanding the removal of criminals from the CM’s office, accusing him of protecting the mafia. The Congress is pushing for the case to be handed over to the CBI based on allegations made by MLA P V Anvar. The protest march will be attended by several prominent leaders, including KPCC president K Sudhakaran and opposition leader V D Satheesan. The seriousness of the allegations against the Chief Minister and the home department is unprecedented in the state.
