Protest brews over traffic mayhem on Palarivattom-Kakkanad stretch since launch of Kochi metro works

Political parties, residents associations, and the trading community are joining forces to protest against the traffic chaos on the Palarivattom-Kakkanad stretch caused by the construction of the Infopark stretch of the Kochi metro. The situation is affecting students, employees, and businesses, with ambulances also getting stuck in traffic. Despite previous preparatory works to improve roads, no such measures have been taken for the current construction phase, leading to frustration among the public.
