Prof. Shobheendran commemoration on October 12

The first death anniversary of environmentalist T. Shobheendran is being commemorated with various events in Wayanad and Kozhikode districts by the Prof. Shobheendran Foundation on October 12. Activities include planting saplings, honoring trees, a green walk called ‘Haritha Yatra’, and setting up a green home. The Haritha Yatra will start from Kozhikode and end at Chooralmala in Wayanad, where a resilient banyan tree will be honored. The day will also feature a Green get-together with nature paintings, songs, and talks by environmentalists.
