The Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) met with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to discuss the need for privacy for those who shared their experiences with the Justice K. Hema committee. They also requested for transparency in the investigation process and more representation of women in key positions in the film industry. The WCC highlighted the importance of scholarships for girls in film schools and increased funding for projects supporting women filmmakers. They are working on a detailed report based on various committee recommendations and have provided suggestions for the proposed film policy. The Chief Minister assured the WCC that their concerns will be addressed.
