Police to intensify drug crackdown and enhance crime prevention measures

They will also work with schools and colleges to educate students about the dangers of drugs. The crime mapping system will be expanded across the state to better track criminal activities. Awareness campaigns on cyber crimes and financial fraud will be launched. Night patrols will be increased, and fake number plates on vehicles will be targeted. Special Branch units will be strengthened, and officials will receive special training. Child abuse cases with delayed charge sheets will be closely monitored, and measures will be taken to address them. District Police Chiefs will keep a close eye on Maoist groups and intervene as needed.
