In the Kadinamkulam murder case, the accused Johnson Ousep was brought to Chirayinkeezhu for evidence collection after being arrested. He is accused of stabbing Athira to death with a knife on Jan 21. He was taken to the shop where he bought the knife, and has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days. Despite being arrested on Thursday, his arrest was recorded on Tuesday due to medical reasons. The accused confessed to murdering Athira out of revenge for her refusing to elope with him, despite their relationship starting on Instagram. Johnson is divorced with three children, while Athira is married with a child.
