Passenger’s death: suspected Kannur native remanded in judicial custody

A man from Kannur has been arrested and put in judicial custody for allegedly pushing a passenger from Tamil Nadu out of a moving train, resulting in the passenger’s death. The victim was identified as Saravanan Gopi and the suspect, T.S. Anilkumar, was taken into custody based on witness statements and CCTV footage. It was reported that Saravanan was pushed out of the train after entering the AC coach with a general ticket. Some passengers claimed that Saravanan was mistreated and not given proper medical care after the incident.
