Organ Transplant Process: Spl panel to streamline organ transplant process

The government in Thiruvananthapuram has set up an advisory committee to improve the organ transplant process in the state. The committee, operating under the Transplantation of Human Organs Act, will provide guidance and support to the appropriate authority. It consists of nine members, including medical experts, social workers, legal experts, and representatives from NGOs and organ recipients. The committee is chaired by a senior official from the health department and has a two-year term. The goal is to streamline and enhance organ transplant procedures in Kerala.
