Missing of realtor: Crime Branch squad takes over probe from local police

The Crime Branch has set up a special investigation team to look into the mysterious disappearance of Mohammed Attoor, a well-known realtor from Balussery. The case was previously handled by a special squad of Kerala police but was transferred to the Crime Branch after Attoor’s family sought further intervention. The State Police Chief reviewed the case before handing it over to the Crime Branch. Attoor went missing on August 21, 2023, and it was later determined to be an abduction. Despite questioning 150 individuals and examining over 1000 phone records, there have been no significant developments in the investigation.
