The department is also working on capturing a leopard spotted in Muliyar for public safety. The urban forest project in the Pallam mangrove reserve is near completion, with initiatives to replace plantations with eco-friendly fruit trees. The Flying Squad will focus on inspections and addressing complaints, utilizing the new office building and dormitory for operational efficiency. MLA NA Nellikunnu emphasized the importance of modern facilities in providing better public service.
