Aswanth A, a visual designer, has a deep connection with the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) that goes beyond just a love for movies. He sees the festival as a cultural space where like-minded people come together to explore new ideas in movies, culture, and techniques. Aswanth, now 26, designed the logo for the 29th edition of the IFFK, with the theme of “Intersectionality”. He believes that design has the power to bring about social and political change, and hopes to start a design community in India to use design as a tool for making the world a better place. Inspired by artists like Stefan Sagmeister and David Carson, Aswanth wants to create works with a universal appeal and continue to push the boundaries of design in India.
