Media should become voice of the voiceless: judge

Justice Devan Ramachandran recently inaugurated the 60th State conference of the Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) by lighting a lamp at the Gandhi statue in Kochi. He emphasized the importance of media becoming the voice of the voiceless and standing with the truth. The event was marked by the lighting of sixty lamps near the Gandhi statue at Marine Drive, symbolizing the 60th State conference which will begin on October 17. Various members of the press club also spoke at the event, highlighting the serious approach that media should take towards societal issues.
