Man accused in 25 cases arrested for attempted theft at magistrate’s house in Ernakulam

A man named Mahesh, aged 46, was arrested by the Kurumppampady police for attempting to steal from two households, including that of a magistrate, in Pulluvazhi near Perumbavoor. He allegedly broke into the houses when he knew no one was home. Mahesh, a resident of Pallippuram in Alappuzha, has been accused in around 25 cases across the state. The police caught him in Aluva and he is currently in custody.
