Malayalam actor T.P. Madhavan, aged 88, passed away at a hospital in Kollam, Kerala after his health deteriorated. He was a prominent figure in the Malayalam film industry, acting in over 600 films. Madhavan was known for his tenure as the first general secretary of AMMA and had been residing in Pathanapuram Gandhibhavan for the past eight years. Despite battling health issues like dementia, he continued to act in serials and films. His body will be kept for public viewing at Gandhibhavan before his funeral in Thiruvananthapuram.
