The Board of Governors of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University is taking legal action against former Vice-Chancellor Ciza Thomas for missing documents related to university affairs. The documents were supposed to be handed over to Raj Bhavan but are now untraceable. Prof. Thomas disagreed with decisions made by the Syndicate and BoG during her time as interim V-C, leading to the involvement of Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. After her retirement, the university tried to recover the documents but Raj Bhavan stated that Prof. Thomas had taken the originals. The BoG is leaving the decision on further action to the Syndicate, with the possibility of the Higher Education department getting involved.
