The Kerala State Transport Employees’ Union is asking the Chief Minister to pay the pending dearness arrears (DA) to employees quickly. While most departments have received a 2% DA increase in 2021, KSRTC staff have not. The Union wants the Chief Minister to release two instalments of pending DA starting from January 2020 in the October month salary. They plan to observe DA rights day on November 1 statewide.
