Kozhikode native Abdul Rahim in Saudi jail refuses to meet mother, speaks to her on video call instead

Rahim’s family had hoped for his release on October 21, but the court postponed the decision to November 17. Rahim was initially sentenced to death for the accidental death of a disabled child he was caring for, but the sentence was overturned after the child’s family accepted blood money as a pardon.
