Abdul Rahim, a man from Feroke, is waiting for release in a Saudi Arabian prison. When his mother and family traveled to Riyadh to meet him, he refused an in-person visit but agreed to speak with them via video call. Rahim’s family had hoped for his release on October 21, but the court postponed the decision to November 17. Rahim was initially sentenced to death for the accidental death of a disabled child he was caring for, but the sentence was overturned after the child’s family accepted blood money as a pardon. The family is now eagerly awaiting Rahim’s release and hoping for no further delays.
