Kodikunnil Suresh flays exclusion of Pulinkunnu, Kallada from CBL

Kodikunnil Suresh, MP, is disappointed with the exclusion of Pulinkunnu in Alappuzha and Kallada in Kollam as venues for the Champions Boat League (CBL) races this year. He believes that limiting the event to only six locations deprives local communities of a source of pride and celebration of cultural identity. Suresh is urging Tourism Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas to reconsider the decision and return the CBL to its previous format, which included more venues. The 2024 CBL races will be held at Thazhathangadi in Kottayam, Kainakary in Alappuzha, Pandanad near Chengannur, Karuvatta in Alappuzha, Kayamkulam, and Kollam.
