The Kochi Water Metro has been recognized for its innovative urban transport project as it has been selected as a winning entry for the HUDCO Best Practices Award 2023-24. The award will be presented to Kochi Water Metro Limited on October 9 in New Delhi by Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar. This award acknowledges the electric hybrid Water Metro ferries for improving the living environment in the city.
