KMSCL to give drug purchase orders to KSDP

Kerala State Medical Services Corporation Ltd. (KMSCL) has decided to prioritize drug purchase orders from Kerala State Drugs and Pharmaceuticals (KSDP) over other pharmaceutical companies. At least 50% of the drugs produced by KSDP will be reserved for purchase by KMSCL at a fair price margin. This decision was made at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting the public sector. The improved performance of KSDP is attributed to this policy of protecting and promoting public sector enterprises.
