The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for six districts in Kerala, warning of isolated heavy rains. Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, and Idukki are on alert due to a weather system over the Arabian Sea. A low-pressure area is present over the sea and expected to intensify into a depression. Additionally, a cyclonic circulation over Sri Lanka has merged with a trough, likely to bring rainfall to Kerala. Stay prepared for moderate to heavy rains in the coming days.
